Lessons are available in three lengths — 30, 45 or 60 minutes. For younger children just starting out, 30 minutes is usually the right place to begin. Older children and adults often find 45 or 60 minutes more productive as they progress.

Lessons can be held at Saygin's home in Southgate or at your home. A travel supplement of £10 applies for lessons at your home.

Lessons take place at Saygin's home in Southgate, North London, at your home, or online — whichever works best for you. All three options are available across all instruments.

Yes. Online lessons work well for all instruments and all levels, including ABRSM exam preparation. All you need is a stable internet connection and enough space to play comfortably.

From age 5 upwards. Younger children begin with shorter sessions and a gentle, playful approach that builds confidence and curiosity before focusing on technique.

Not at all. Complete beginners are very welcome — at any age. The first lesson is always about understanding where you are and where you'd like to go.

Yes — you can book a single initial lesson. It's a chance to meet, assess your current level, talk through your goals, and make sure the lessons feel right for you before committing to anything.

For the first lesson, no. But having your own instrument at home to practise on is important for progress — and advice on what to buy for your budget is always available.

Absolutely. Many adult students start with no experience at all — and make excellent progress. There's no age limit, no pressure, and no such thing as starting too late.
